Karaleev

Kalin Karaleev is an experienced professional audio engineer and musician with experience at the highest levels of the Bulgarian broadcast and music industries. He has worked with a lot of musicians both from Bulgarian and international scene as Joshua Bell, Carl Palmer, Herbie Hancock, Candy Dulfer and many more.

Karaleev was the longtime head of the audio department and a member of the Council of Technological Development at Bulgarian National Television, where he was a key figure in upgrading quality standards for music production. During the London Olympic Games in 2012 he contributed to the development of the first surround streaming in Bulgaria. Karaleev has served as a consultant for studio and television productions in Bulgaria, Austria and Germany.

In recent years, he has been a freelance audio engineer for the Munich-based media group Pro7/SAT1 while working on developing DemoPlus, which initially launched in Austria.

Karaleev is a 2003 graduate of New Bulgarian University, where since 2012 he has been a professor in the audio department, teaching Basics of Audio Engineering and Audio Acoustics.
